By Misha Hits NY Fashion Week

The By Misha Fall 2012 presentation premiered during New York Fashion Week this past week at the Bernarducci Meisel Gallery.

“Crown Jewels” offered a party-perfect concoction of silky silhouettes , ruffles, pleats, glitter and gold. It feels like just the other day when I first heard about Misha Vaidya’s collection, and featured her here, on Front Row Spectator. The color palette for this collection consisted of luxurious jewels: amethysts, emeralds and sapphires.

Misha on her collection:

“The timelessness of a freshwater pearl, history of a listed building, precision of an antique bracelet, texture of a cobble-stone street to the colours of a kaleidoscope and refreshment of a spring flower. What’s there not to be inspired by?,” said Misha. “This appreciation of beauty is apparent in my designs which fuse high fashion with eclectic aesthetics.”
